Jaipur: A woman working at Jaipur’s Nahargarh Biological Park was killed after a tiger attacked her while she was cutting grass inside the animal enclosure area. The incident has raised serious questions over worker safety and the security arrangements at the park.
According to reports, the woman, identified as Sugna Devi, was among a group of workers engaged in grass-cutting work when the tiger attacked. Five other women reportedly fled the spot after the animal moved towards them. Sugna Devi was fatally injured in the attack.
The incident has also triggered controversy after fellow workers reportedly claimed that the enclosure or cage gate may have been opened deliberately. This allegation has not been independently established and will require a formal investigation by the authorities.
