Jaipur: Jaipur is preparing to welcome Rajasthanis from across India and overseas as the state opens online registration for the second edition of Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas 2026. The event will be held on December 10 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC), Sitapura, bringing together members of the Rajasthani diaspora, investors, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals.
The initiative aims to strengthen the connection between Rajasthan and its global community while encouraging investment, knowledge-sharing and participation in the state’s economic development.
According to the event announcement, online registration begins on October 11. The gathering is expected to provide a common platform for government representatives, business leaders and professionals to discuss investment opportunities and explore partnerships across key sectors.

Shikhar Agarwal highlights collaboration and contribution
Shikhar Agarwal, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, has emphasised the importance of connecting the state with its diaspora and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement.
In his remarks on the upcoming event, Agarwal said, “Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas is an expression of the unbreakable bond between Rajasthan and its people. The second edition aims to provide new opportunities for meaningful dialogue, collaboration and contribution.”
He also invited members of the Rajasthani diaspora, young professionals, entrepreneurs, corporate representatives and other stakeholders with an interest in the state to participate and become part of Rajasthan’s development journey.
The event is intended to go beyond a ceremonial gathering by encouraging practical discussions and partnerships that can translate ideas into opportunities for the state.
Six sectoral sessions planned
The programme will feature discussions covering six areas: Pravasi Rajasthanis, industries, tourism, energy, urban development and mining. These sessions will bring together stakeholders to exchange views on emerging business opportunities, investment prospects and potential areas of cooperation.
The gathering is also expected to provide networking opportunities for startups, young entrepreneurs, corporate executives and social-sector organisations.
A key focus will be on connecting the experience and expertise of Rajasthanis living outside the state with local development priorities. The government’s broader objective is to encourage the diaspora to contribute through investment, professional knowledge, entrepreneurship and social initiatives.
Building on the inaugural edition
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced the observance of December 10 as Pravasi Rajasthani Diwas during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024. The inaugural edition was held at JECC, Jaipur, on December 10, 2025.
The second edition is expected to build on that foundation by strengthening engagement between Rajasthan and its people living in different parts of India and abroad.
With registration opening on October 11, prospective participants can visit the official event website for details and registration.
