Jaipur: Jaipur Police carried out a coordinated raid on NEO Bar Club in Bajaj Nagar during a special enforcement operation against alleged illegal hookah services. According to officials, the club's manager was arrested while officers seized five hookah units, pipes, flavors, and other accessories believed to have been used for serving customers in violation of state regulations.
During the same operation, police also initiated action at Laila Cafe, where officials inspected the premises and examined compliance with applicable laws and licensing requirements. The raids were part of an ongoing citywide campaign targeting unauthorized hookah bars and establishments suspected of breaching public safety norms.
Police officials stated that similar inspections will continue across Jaipur to ensure compliance with anti-hookah regulations and to deter illegal commercial activities. Authorities have warned that operators found violating the law may face criminal proceedings, fines, and additional legal action.
Investigators are examining whether the establishments possessed the required permissions and whether other regulatory violations were committed. Further inquiries are underway.
