The state-owned power utilities in Rajasthan have launched a large-scale recruitment drive for 2,005 posts, marking one of the biggest hiring initiatives in the electricity sector this year. The announcement was made by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited and covers multiple technical and administrative positions across the state’s power companies.

According to the official notification, the vacancies include:

869 Junior Engineer posts

371 Junior Accountant posts

765 Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II posts

Among Junior Engineers, the breakup includes 727 Electrical, 110 Mechanical, and 32 Civil posts.

The recruitment will be carried out across all five state power utilities, including Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited and the three regional distribution companies serving Jaipur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur.

State Energy Minister Heeralal Nagar said the drive reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening the power infrastructure while creating employment opportunities for youth. He added that the initiative aligns with the state budget announcements made under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

Officials confirmed that detailed application guidelines will be released in July 2026, and online applications will be accepted through official utility websites.
