Rajasthan Government Transfers 26 IAS and 53 RAS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has carried out a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 26 IAS officers and 53 RAS officers in orders issued late on Monday, August 17. The changes include new postings in district councils, development authorities, municipal corporations, secretariats and other key departments.

The government has also posted 14 officers as Special Officers in district election offices, while 33 RAS officers have been appointed as Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs). Additional responsibilities have been assigned to two officers, while Ashu Chaudhary, Ranjita Gautam and Suresh Kumar Rao have been placed Awaiting Posting Orders (APO).

Among the prominent IAS changes, Girdhar has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Bhiwadi Integrated Development Authority (BIDA), while several officers have been given charge of district councils and urban development bodies.

Pritam Kumar — CEO, Zila Parishad, Udaipur

Yatharth Shekhar — CEO, Zila Parishad, Jaisalmer

Dr Anshu Priya — Registrar, Sardar Patel Police University, Jodhpur

Shraddha Gome — CEO, Zila Parishad, Hanumangarh

Mohit Kasnia — CEO, Zila Parishad, Sawai Madhopur

Bhainsare Shubham Ashok — CEO, Zila Parishad, Jaipur

Shreshtha Shri — CEO, Zila Parishad, Dholpur

Other IAS officers have been assigned responsibilities in the Energy, Planning, Disaster Management, Public Works, Medical, PHED, Commercial Taxes and other departments.

14 Officers Posted as Special Officers

Aditi Varshney, Srishti Dabas, Aishwarya Prajapati, Megha Anand, Swati Sharma, Neha Uddhav Singh Rajput, Mohan Lal, Ravindra Kumar Meghwal, Birju Gopal Chaudhary, Aditi Yadav, Mrinal Kumar, Aradhana Chauhan, Rohit Verma and Bhanu Sharma have been posted as Special Officers in district election offices across Rajasthan.

Major RAS Reshuffle

The government has also transferred 53 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers. Among the prominent changes:

Kaluram — Registrar, University of Rajasthan

Kailash Chandra Sharma — Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer

Mahavir Singh-II — Secretary, Rajasthan State Textbook Board

Dr Rakesh Kumar Meena — Additional Director, Social Justice and Empowerment Department

Rajesh Joshi — ADM, Kota

Anil Kumar-II — ADM, Sikar

Jagdish Prasad Gaud — ADM, Karauli

Yogesh Kumar Dagur — ADM, Alwar

Lakhan Singh Gurjar — ADM, Kuchaman City

Devendra Singh Parmar — ADM, Deeg

33 New Sub-Divisional Officers

The reshuffle also places 33 RAS officers as SDOs across districts including Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Kota, Barmer, Bundi, Nagaur, Jaipur, Dholpur, Karauli, Rajsamand, Jalore, Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur and other regions.

The appointments are expected to strengthen field-level administration and provide fresh leadership in subdivisions ahead of upcoming administrative and electoral activities.

Additional Charge and APO Orders

Girdhar has additionally been assigned responsibility as Deputy CEO of the Khushkhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana Investment Region Regional Development Authority, while Rahul Srivastava has been given additional charge as Secretary of the Urban Improvement Trust, Mount Abu.

Meanwhile, Ashu Chaudhary, Ranjita Gautam and Suresh Kumar Rao have been placed under APO orders.

The extensive reshuffle represents one of the Rajasthan government's significant administrative exercises in recent months, with changes spanning state departments, urban bodies, district administrations and field-level postings.
