The Rajasthan Foundation has intensified outreach to non-resident Rajasthanis, engaging over 200 participants from diaspora chapters and overseas Rajasthani organisations in a recent virtual interaction focused on investment mobilisation.
Commissioner Dr. Manisha Arora addressed participants, urging them to view Rajasthan not only as a cultural homeland but also as a viable investment destination. She emphasized the importance of sustained virtual engagement mechanisms that connect global Rajasthanis with domestic development initiatives.
Officials noted that initiatives such as Pravasi Rajasthani Divas have strengthened institutional ties between the state and its diaspora, encouraging participation in programs like Karmabhoomi Se Matrubhumi Abhiyan, Vande Ganga Abhiyan, and Shiksha Bhamashah.
During the interaction, representatives from the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) outlined key investment frameworks, including industrial corridors such as the Jodhpur–Pali–Marwar Industrial Area (JPMIA), Rajasthan Petro Zone, and plug-and-play industrial infrastructure models.
The session also highlighted digital facilitation tools such as the Raj Investment Portal, along with land allocation and cost recovery mechanisms designed to streamline investor onboarding.
