The Government of Rajasthan is making final preparations for the formal inauguration of the ambitious Pachpadra Refinery, a flagship energy project that is expected to transform the state’s industrial landscape.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma recently chaired a high-level review meeting in Jaipur, directing officials to ensure all arrangements are completed on time ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit.
According to officials, the refinery has already entered partial operational phases, with several processing units functional and early petrochemical outputs being generated. Full-scale commercial production is expected to expand gradually after the inauguration.
The refinery is being viewed as a strategic project for India’s energy ecosystem, reducing dependence on imports and strengthening domestic fuel production capacity.
