Preparations have been completed at Shri Ram Rangmanch in Kota's Dussehra Ground ahead of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's visit on Wednesday. Gandhi, who serves as the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, is expected to address students and young people on issues related to competitive examinations, paper leaks, and educational reforms.

According to party leaders, Gandhi will arrive in Kota by chartered aircraft at approximately 2:40 PM, following a change in his original travel plan. He is scheduled to reach the event venue at 5:30 PM and remain there until around 9:30 PM before departing for New Delhi by train later that night.

The program will begin with a music concert featuring popular performers Lashkari and Karma, setting the stage for an evening focused on student concerns and education policy.

During his address, Rahul Gandhi is expected to raise four major reform proposals:

Decentralization of the NEET examination system.

Elimination of examination fees.

Strong legal action against paper leak networks.

Greater accountability in the examination process.

Congress leaders described the event as the starting point of a nationwide campaign aimed at highlighting challenges faced by students and job aspirants across India.

The visit has also intensified political activity in Kota, with senior leaders from both Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) arriving in the city. Political exchanges continued throughout the day, including allegations by Congress that local authorities removed banners and posters welcoming Gandhi.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar criticized the event, arguing that students preparing for upcoming examinations would prioritize their studies over political gatherings. Congress leaders rejected the criticism and maintained that the program is intended to address pressing educational concerns.
