Jaipur: Rajasthan's Public Works Department has come under renewed public scrutiny after posters criticizing senior IAS officer Praveen Gupta surfaced in several locations across Jaipur. The posters, reportedly installed by contractors frustrated with delays in payment clearances, accuse the department of administrative inaction and demand leadership changes.
Contractors claim that outstanding bills have disrupted construction activities, strained cash flows, and delayed payments to labourers and suppliers.
