Jaipur: The Rajasthan government has intensified its push to ensure that budgeted funds for public welfare and infrastructure projects are utilized within the prescribed financial year. During a comprehensive departmental review meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari instructed senior officials to eliminate delays in project execution and ensure that every sanctioned rupee reaches intended beneficiaries on time.
Chairing the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister stressed that efficient financial management is essential for accelerating development and maintaining public confidence in government programs. She directed departments to closely monitor the progress of ongoing schemes, remove administrative bottlenecks, and submit regular progress reports.
Diya Kumari warned that any officer found responsible for negligence, unnecessary delays, or failure to utilize allocated funds effectively would face disciplinary action. She emphasized that timely expenditure is crucial for achieving the state's development goals and ensuring quality public services.
Officials reviewed the implementation status of key infrastructure, urban development, tourism, and public welfare projects. The meeting also focused on improving coordination among departments, speeding up tendering and approval processes, and ensuring transparency in financial management.
The Deputy Chief Minister reiterated that the Rajasthan government remains committed to accountable governance and expects every department to deliver measurable results through efficient execution of approved schemes.
